Jemma Millard

I am trained as a diagnostic radiographer and spent 10 years working in the NHS before leaving the organisation in August of 2022. Before leaving, I had realised that I needed to have a different option in place for work, and had completed an ITEC diploma in holistic massage in 2007, so I did a refresher course in 2022 at the London School of Sports Massage.

I gained some practical experience working in a gym in London for a few months, and completed additional training in advanced deep tissue and Thai foot massage. During this time I also received attunements in Reiki levels one and two, following a profoundly transformational year-long journey with Reiki myself. More recently I have completed basic training in EFT and a foundation course in Applied Kinesiology - both fascinating subjects and hugely beneficial methods for improving health and wellbeing.

I aim to work intuitively with clients, using different techniques for the individual, and am currently deciding how I can take my practice forward and combine my skills into bespoke treatment packages. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and using the skills I have learnt to help people to heal, and I simply love giving massages and Reiki! I find I get incredibly positive effects from the energy flow, time and space given for the treatments.

I am also passionate about offering affordable treatments to the community and have been helping run the monthly PHA low cost clinic at HOPE Sussex in Netherfield for the past 18 months. I am looking into bring a similar regular clinic to other venues over the coming months.

I live in Hastings and do still work as a diagnostic radiographer to pay the bills, so I currently fit my therapy work and training around my day job!
